With our Flexibility Lab pilot, we provide knowledge, technology and experience to collaborate with all those agents interested in the flexibility of the electrical system. The aim is accelerate the initiation of flexibility services in the distribution network, especially aimed at congestion management and voltage regulation, ensuring that the electricity grid remains reliable, robust and able to meet the needs of all users.

The European Clean Energy Package regulation establishes new roles for Distribution System Operators (DSOs), encouraging them to integrate flexibility services through transparent and non-discriminatory market processes in order to manage and develop the distribution grid more efficiently.

The Flexibility Lab Pilot comprises three demonstration areas, located in Malaga, Seville and Menorca, which allow the development and testing of flexibility mechanisms, products and services aimed at the distribution network.
