Tariff regime
On 1 June 2021, the tariff regime for electricity supply came into force.
This change was established by Order TED/371/2021 of 19 April, which regulates:
- The prices of electricity system charges.
- Capacity payments.
Impact on billing systems
Applying the new tariff regime has required:
- Adapting IT systems.
- Adjusting billing processes to the new structure of:
- Transmission and distribution tolls.
- System charges.
These adaptations affect both:
- Distribution companies, and
- Suppliers.
