If you need to increase the power rating of one of your supply contracts, you must do so online via our private website, where you must be registered with an active user account.

Once in the private area, you can submit your request online via the ‘Grid Connection / New Connection Request or Contract Amendment’ section.

If you have a current contract and the final power requested for LV is 15 kW or less, you must request the increase directly through your electricity supplier.

Can I make any power adjustments whenever I want?
- By law, the contracted power supply can be changed no more than once a year. It is very important to be sure of what you are doing and to seek advice when changing the power supply in an electricity supply contract.
How do I know what power rating is right for me?
- The first thing you need to do is work out how much power you’ll need, based on the electrical appliances you plan to install and how often you’ll use them at the same time. If you sign up for an insufficient power rating, you could experience problems with your electricity supply. If you overestimate your needs, you’ll end up with unnecessary costs. You’ll find plenty of online tools that can give you a rough idea of the power your supply needs, based on your usage patterns.
How much does it cost to change your electricity tariff?
- We, the utility companies, are responsible for carrying out the work required for the switch, but it is the energy supplier who should inform you of the cost involved, as they will be the ones to bill you for it alongside your energy consumption.
When do I need a new electrical certificate?
- If you wish to increase your contracted power, the certificate is required when:
  
  - The power you wish to contract exceeds the maximum stated on your certificate.
  
  - When it does not exceed it, but more than 20 years have passed since the last inspection of the installation by e-distribución. (In the Balearic Islands, an ad hoc inspection is carried out, and whether a certificate is required depends on the result of this inspection)
  
  A new certificate is also required if you have changed the voltage.
