Innovation in e-distribución

Sustainability

With this project, we want to combine the improvement of the low voltage infrastructure to guarantee the safety and supply to the neighbours with the execution of the work in the most sustainable way possible, involving the local community.

This project is developed in a block in the central district of Zaragoza made up of six neighborhood communities. They are housing blocks on Pedro María Ric, San Vicente Mártir, Paseo de las Damas y León XIII.

The project is divided into 3 phases:

  • Exterior work: trenches will be dug in the sidewalks of the streets: León XIII, Pedro María Ric, San Vicente Mártir and Paseo de las Damas. Seven new underground networks will be built to which the general protection boxes (CGP) that will be installed on the facades will be connected. e-distribución of the work, with an approximate duration of 6 weeks.
  • Interior connections: once the CGPs are installed, the connection from them to the meter rooms of each portal will be the responsibility of the installation company hired by each community. Depending on the technical characteristics of the building, the duration of this phase can vary between 1 and 4 weeks.
  • Dismantling of interior networks: when all the portals are connected to the new CGP, the cables and old elements of the interior patios will be removed. e-distribución of the works with the consent of the neighboring communities. Some works will be carried out at height, with companies specialized in these works, with an approximate duration of 4 weeks.

The benefits of this project for the neighbors are:

  • Safety. Improvement of security for the affected properties against the risk of accidents. Renovation of the installation for more than 50 years.
  • Normative. Adaptation to the new electrical regulations and current technology, enabling future developments such as power extensions and avoiding problems with insurance companies that would not cover damage costs in the event of an accident due to the fact that they are not in compliance with current regulations.
  • Maintenance. Improvement of the current state of the network, currently it cannot be accessed for proper maintenance and operation
  • Supply. Improved supply due to the installation of general protection boxes, now non-existent
  • Revaluation. Improvement of the visual and ornamental impact with revaluation of the properties.
